Welcome back and thanks for reading!
Here are my current books… not too many as I’m getting geared up for NaNoWriMo which starts in just a few days (!!).
- Praying God’s Word Day By Day by Beth Moore~ I’ve been reading this daily devotional since the beginning of 2008 and I really like it.
- No Plot? No Problem! by Chris Baty~ I’ve returned to this book to use as a guideline for some basic outlining for my WriMo novel. I like Baty’s suggestions for getting prepped for the month of writing a lot.
- I heart bloomberg by Melody Carlisle~ I’m about halfway through this one and it’s pretty cute (and I love that it’s the 1st of a series). I wanted to read a couple more Christian chick lit novels to get me fired up for WriMo.
- Love Starts with Elle by Rachel Hauck~ I’m super excited about this one; I hope to read it, too, before starting my novel. I loved the prequel to this, Sweet Caroline~I borrowed it from my friend Ashley and she said she liked Elle’s story even better so I can’t wait!
Oh, and thanks to Amy @ Litfuse I won a free copy, too!

Christa Banister has a two novel series out that you may like. Her first one is Around the World in 80 Dates and the second is Blessed are the Meddlers. I’ve seen some pretty good reviews on Amazon. I’m hoping to get a copy of the first one soon.
Love Starts with Elle sounds like a good one too! Thanks!

Thanks, Shanna, I’ll have to look for those.
Did you guys notice that the real Rachel Hauck, as in author of a book on my nightstand, left a comment here! So fun! Thanks for stopping by, Rachel!

You’ll have to post about Hauck’s book when you’re done. I really enjoyed Diva NashVegas, which surprised me because I don’t usually like chicklit, although it seemed like a toned-down chicklit.
And there was no shopping involved.
Maybe it was just lit about a chick.

Heather, I’ll keep you posted! I usually get a little overwhelmed by all the shopping too… not really my thing either. Thanks for visiting!
